Having just used this blog to pick up the recent posts and comments on other local blogs as I often do, I wondered why people comment on very old posts on the various local blogs as it seems unlikely that anyone apart from the blog administrator will ever read there comments.The only way I ever pick these comments up is by looking here and as only about 10 people a day use this blog I can’t see many other people would read these belated comments.

I too can't understand why more people don't use this blog, it's so much quicker & easier (I visit several times per day usually).
Me neither Peter I would waste hours keeping up with the local Thanet natter without it.
I would guess that google had found an old post that fulfilled the requirements of a search request. The person reading the old post didn't check the dates and just joined in as it was a subject of interest and to them was the present.
