New blog on the street

I have just added http://thandotnet.blogspot.com/ so we can keep an eye on the comments there.

Once again looking at the comments that appear here I wonder why people comment on very old posts when it’s unlikely that anyone will ever find them.

Although this is my least viewed blog in terms of the number of people viewing it I noticed that those who do use this blog stay on it for much longer than the others so perhaps I am doing something right after all.

A post from my least visited blog

Having just used this blog to pick up the recent posts and comments on other local blogs as I often do, I wondered why people comment on very old posts on the various local blogs as it seems unlikely that anyone apart from the blog administrator will ever read there comments.

The only way I ever pick these comments up is by looking here and as only about 10 people a day use this blog I can’t see many other people would read these belated comments.

Planes Over Herne Bay

Having just done my monthly post about the popularity of the local blogs I noticed that I have been getting quite a few referrals from Planes Over Herne Bay so I have added it although it is not a strictly Thanet blog.

I have to admit with spending much of my spare time on Pleasurama I haven’t been keeping as much of an eye on the Airport issue as perhaps I should have done.

Anyway I am off to sign the petition against night flights between 11pm and 7am something I certainly don’t want.

I have managed to tweak this site a bit so it loads much quicker then it did and it seems to be picking up posts on the other local blogs much quicker that the blogger widget, so there is no problem having a few extra blogs now.
