I have added Thanet Waves to this my least popular blog, although I have to say that due to the proliferation of RaspBerry devices it is getting more popular as it is the least angry making way I have found to view the main Thanet blogs.

I should point out here that I can only add blogs that are hosted buy blogger to this blog.

New Kids on the Blog

I have added a couple of new Thanet blogs to this my least read blog, Eros Kaios, as everyone is trying to find his or perhaps death is a her, Achilles tendon so as to identify this particular Lacedaemon Ambassador. I have also added In2 Ken Read.

Is blogging an activity for the insane? If it is I have removed from here those who have been cured.

Johann Christian Reil, who coined the word psychiatry made some suggestions for curing the insane, I quote:

Anyway all of the Thanet blogs that haven’t posted anything for a month have been deleted below and I have added the curative picture above.

I have just moved the blog Margate Architecture http://margatearchitecture.blogspot.com/ up with the top group on this site i.e. those that post often or attract a lot of comment.

As I have said before I am always surprised how few people use this website, so to the few of you that do please let me know if you want any changes.

I have just added http://thandotnet.blogspot.com/ so we can keep an eye on the comments there.

Once again looking at the comments that appear here I wonder why people comment on very old posts when it’s unlikely that anyone will ever find them.

Although this is my least viewed blog in terms of the number of people viewing it I noticed that those who do use this blog stay on it for much longer than the others so perhaps I am doing something right after all.

Having just used this blog to pick up the recent posts and comments on other local blogs as I often do, I wondered why people comment on very old posts on the various local blogs as it seems unlikely that anyone apart from the blog administrator will ever read there comments.

The only way I ever pick these comments up is by looking here and as only about 10 people a day use this blog I can’t see many other people would read these belated comments.

Planes Over Herne Bay

Having just done my monthly post about the popularity of the local blogs I noticed that I have been getting quite a few referrals from Planes Over Herne Bay so I have added it although it is not a strictly Thanet blog.

I have to admit with spending much of my spare time on Pleasurama I haven’t been keeping as much of an eye on the Airport issue as perhaps I should have done.

Anyway I am off to sign the petition against night flights between 11pm and 7am something I certainly don’t want.

I have managed to tweak this site a bit so it loads much quicker then it did and it seems to be picking up posts on the other local blogs much quicker that the blogger widget, so there is no problem having a few extra blogs now.

I have just done a bit of an update adjusting the number of comments on each blog featured here so that it relates to the number of comments that the site actually gets.

The idea of this is to make it load fairly quickly, the post feeds that are on the blogger post pages but none of the non blogger hosted blogs have are different to the feeds the produce the latest comment.

With the comments that come up on this blog from the other blogs if you deleted the comment the comment vanishes from this site, however with Ramsgate News and his post MILES DAVIS, KIND OF BLUE IN THANET? It is staying up as the last post here but has vanished from his blog which I would expect.

However the comment I would expect to go and it hasn’t, it is as though it is there but not there, so I wonder does anyone know if he has been bloggerd.

I have added Ramsgate News as it looks to be an interesting new blog and also Thanet Observer as it seems to be fairly lively at the moment. Once again if I am missing any of the Thanet blogs that are attracting a fair amount of comment please let me know. The problem here is that if I add too many blogs this one takes too long to load. I have knocked back the amount of comments visible for some of the less commented on blogs to make a bit more room and increased the amount of comments visible on ECR as he gets so many.

Having just used this blog to catch up on the recent comment on the others I notice that there were two comments today on a post that ECR put up in Tuesday, May 23, 2006 called "Titan Uranus" what did occur to me though was that unless they use this blog how would anyone ever find their comment?

I have just been through and deleted the Thanet blogs that have been inactive for over a week and added those that have become active. I have no option here as the page is so complicated that if I have too many sites it would take ages to load.

Please let me know if I have missed any Thanet blogs attracting a lot of comment at the moment, I can only add those hosted by blogger at the moment, due to my eliteracy.

I have added hopefully all Thanet blogs that get a fair amount of comment, I can’t add Thanet Star ad it isn’t hosted on blogger and I can’t make JavaScript work for its feeds for some reason I don’t understand. Please let me now if you think I have missed any.

With all the aviation comment at the moment I thought the picture that illustrates what happens when air safety is subservient to political expediency was apposite, It should get big enough to read if you click on it.

I have put everyone in alphabetical order and added SMEG today. The trouble is that this is a very cranky site and bits of it are inclined to stop working for no apparent reason. Sometimes deleting your temporary internet files helps if it wont load properly.

I have added Naked in Thanet and Promote Thanet today and hope to get a few more done soon.

This site is a bit technically cranky so the ones that work the easiest get done the first.

I am afraid I can only do this with bloggers using blogger at the moment but am working on the problem.
